Went HQ to help the kids packed the First Aid supply as we will be catching Meet the Robinson after our hardwork. Throughout the 45 minutes MRT journey, I bet there are more than 10 people who stare at me, the feeling is weird

Helped to pack the RC room, it was super messy with everything "flying" around, although it can be tiring but it was fun with the kids' company! As they like to do crazy things while working!

Watched Meet the Robinson with jin liu, cass, esther, derek and stephen at Great World, the show was good with great storyline, love what the characters said in the movie.

Something learnt after the movie: everything happens for a reason, there is no going back. Failure is the 1st step towards success, so keep moving forward! Never look back!

Went for some window shopping and coffee at TCC and esther did and said something stupid again!

Meet up with my hangout gang at bedok! They made me waited for like 1 hour plus! Had supper at Bedok 85, we talked super loud as it runs in our genes and all of us dont look decent either with joan's red hair! After round 1 at bedok we had round 2 at prata house!

At 4.30am they decided to come my house to finish the Bombay Sapphire, and some were pretty drunk after the Grey Goose and I bet they don't know what they were doing! Stayed till 8.30am before the drivers tried to get sober and send all of them home!

Just loved hanging out with the sec sch gang, as what bean mentioned, years ago we were sabo-ing each other during birthdays, and here today driving out for supper and who knows years later we will be attending each other's wedding and may be even bring our kids out for supper!

My hair is red again!

Well, intend to get a new phone but it will eat up my 1 month pay. It is something worth considering as I have been eyeing for a PDA for quite some time.

Realised I have been missing out alot, and now everything should be back to normal. Outings with poly friends, supper and cooking with my sec sch hangout gang and many others lining up!

Like what bean say, we shall share our love although it sounded quite gay when he is telling everyone. LOL

You guys bite me wont die? Have to suck my blood through a layer of oil, I bet you guys will die of obesity.

Found many blue-blacks on my hands and legs, when I didnt fall or do anything that will cause injuries. Maybe it has something to do with my low iron level? The blue-blacks dont seems to be dissaperaing. X:

I believe that ah gong and ah ma want all these to happend. They should be proud that their ah girl has grown up, and able to handle them well.

They have gave me something and took away something from me. As what yu ching will say, all these transactions are fair!

Today is THE day.

today was the last unit training before exams!
we did 100 plus of squats and sunshine.
my legs and hands are completely numb after training.
they are the punishments for the kids but can see that the kids are bonded after all the squads and sunshine.

hopefully after exams they will be as bonded as today!

Ms Ow . Crazy

The notorious class gave me a title today
"The fiercest relief teacher"
Told my fellow colleagues and they commented that I should be proud of that title as not many relief teachers can control that notorious class.

My colleagues(relief teachers) faced many problems with the kids and was unable to control them, yet I am crowned "The fiercest relief teacher". It is an achievement that I am proud of.

Lets backtrack to Saturday (14.04.2007)
Had our "drinking" session @ my hse, as usual all of us get high but this time round Policeman visited us as we were too noisy.

As usual, the first to be down was our dear Say Ee, but he still stay strong trying to make dessert for us! Ling Yang was an a** wanting to make all of us drunk just like him. Shawn was our rare guest, he just booked out and he is here with us, dont play play he is in OCS now.

We are gona have drinking session once every two months but we gona have eating session soon, and my hse will be our kitchen!

Have been slacking at home for the past few days. With free time, it give me chance to think. Think about many things, many that have been bothering me.

Was blog-hopping and I come across my poly classmate's blog, he is pretty cool and many of his phrases are very real, and he wrote everything himself.

This is my 500th post, have been reading the past 499 posts. Many things changed which includes my language, I used to put all the 'sia, lah" after every sentence.

The distance from our mind to our heart is very short, but often we do things differently from what we feel and think. Rationally, our brain tells us the right or theorically correct things, but often we did the opposite because our hearts says so. Even if the distance between our heart and brain is sooo close, things/facts from our brain dont often get into our heart. they dun reach or they take years to reach.

These few days, both my heart and mind are having block-nose, unable to think and feel.

I am hoping for the better, and maybe the outcome that I had always dream of.

The kids are really cute! The way they talk, their action and their smile are just so sweet.

"I dont want the chairman to get scolding!" that is how the sec1 do to protect their new chairman.

"Ms Ow, I want to be IC next week" that is how the sec 2 show their initiative

My days with them are limited.

It went well today, lets wait for their reply in 1 to 2 weeks time!

My heart just sank when i heard abt it, it was just 1 year ago such things happend and now another struggling for his life.

Isn't it cool that I have been motivating others about how great life can be but I am not motivated.

But I have told myself everything before I tell them, Maybe is because of my current suitation that doesnt allow me to see it at the other angles?

I may look okay on the outside, but actually I am not.

My tuition kid gave me a drawing, she drew pigs for me and what touches me is that the pigs were drawn in the way I taught her. The drawing just brighten up my moody day [:

I have relief-ed WGS 3N1 each time I am back, there is 1 student who managed to get my msn and he started MSN-ing with me and asked why I wasnt back today as many of their teachers were not in school. Talking on MSN as a teacher is pretty different, have to talk sense.

Everything is just so not right

WRCD

Have been helping out WRCD since 2004, this year has been the wettest WRCD where most of us were running in the rain trying to get things done.

In the early part of the day, we were burning under the hot sun for parade rehearsals and setting up of the entire stadium for the celebration and when the actual event was to start, it started drizzling and soon it was raining like cats and dogs.

We have to shelter the kids up the bus as not all of them bought umbrella, we got a super huge umbrella from the ice-cream uncle across the street, it was nice of him to lend us the umbrella.

When we sheltered the kids, we were drenched. When the judges was judging the banner, we were drenched; We were drenched while taking the banners down too. Some of us even ran on the tracks without an umbrella as it seems unless by then.

Many of the instructors were shivering as they have no time to change into dry clothes before debrief, many of us were wet after changing.

It was great seeing many of our batchmates were back for WRCD, for your information WRCD 2004 was our batch first event! It just feel so warm when we gave each other hug in our drenched attire, it is better than any jacket!

Went to the nearby resturant for dinner, they bought a birthday cake for me! I was touched at that moment and still am till now! Love them all [:

I hope that all the helpers for WRCD have not fall sick after yesterday's event!

Chapter 2.0

Have offically entered my chapter 2.0 of my life on 6th April 2007. Many thanks to those who wished me, there are too many to be named but maybe I shall named a few funny and meaningful ones.

Yvonne Eng smsed me in the midnight of 5th April, thinking that my bday falls on 5th April! Dear girl, you are the 1st one to wished me this year!

Sarah Ee aka er zi, she called me from aust to wish me, gald to know that she is doing fine in aust, will write her a letter soon which I owned her for many weeks!

Judee Poh, she is also studying at aust now, received her sms! I will be waiting for my presents!

Didnt have any programme for the day except mahjong! Went Xiang Xiang princess hse for a game of mahjong before heading down to prata house, which they sang bday song so loudly with prata as my cake! -_-"

As we are all crazy about mahjong, they shifted the battle ground to my hse and that is the reason why I am still awake at this moment when WRCD is just a few hours away!

With a new chapter, I have many things to accomplished, many to worry about and many many many more. will update about them in due date!

Relief teach today, the kids were pretty good especially those that I took before, they already know my style. Dont mess with Ms Ow!

The kids are pretty cute when they know I graduated from WGS, they asked lots of qns and pretty caring too.

Being a teacher can be stressful, but the results are great!

NYAA Talk

As the ex-president of the NYP NYAA Students' Club, I was invitied to give NYAA talk to SCL and SIDM freshies. Well, I have been talking almost the same things throughout the 2 presentations, maybe just bringing the pointers to the freshies differently.
